About MHT CET
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is the state-level exam conducted by the State CET Cell for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses across Maharashtra.
Exam Pattern
MHT CET consists of 3 papers — Physics & Chemistry (combined) and Mathematics. It is a computer-based test with MCQs, held annually in April–May.
Marking Scheme
Physics & Chemistry carry 1 mark per question, Mathematics carries 2 marks per question. There is no negative marking in MHT CET.
Candidates Appearing
Over 7 lakh students appear for MHT CET every year, making it one of the largest state-level engineering entrance exams in India.
