Established in 1996 by the Government of Maharashtra, the Government College of Engineering, Jalgaon (GCOEJ) is one of the premier autonomous engineering colleges in the state.
The institute is located on a 19-acre urban campus along National Highway 6. GCOEJ holds a NAAC 'B+' grade and has been autonomous since 2014, allowing it to design a curriculum that meets modern industrial demands. It offers 6 undergraduate B.Tech programs, with Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication being the most sought-after branches. The 2024-25 placement season recorded a highest domestic package of ₹17 LPA, while the median package stands at ₹3.5 LPA.
