Established in 2018 by the Government of Maharashtra, the Government College of Engineering, Yavatmal (GCOEY) is one of the newest government engineering colleges in the state.
The institute is located on a sprawling 40.19-acre lush green campus, providing a serene environment for technical learning. GCOEY is affiliated with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere. It offers undergraduate B.Tech programs in 5 branches: Computer, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication.
