MET 2026 application to counselling timeline roadmap.

1. Introduction: The All-In-One Manipal Guide

The wait is over. The MET 2026 Application is officially released on manipal.edu.

But filling the form is just Step 1. To get into Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) or MIT, you need to navigate a complex journey: Slot Booking -> Exam -> Rank List -> Counselling.

Most students fail not because they lack knowledge, but because they miss a deadline or mess up the "Waitlist" rules during counselling.

In this mega-guide, we cover the Entire Timeline from today until your first day at college.

💡 Strategy: NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions have ZERO Negative Marking. Attempt all 15 of them, even if you have to guess!

4. Mock Test Strategy: The "200 Club"

MAHE releases an Official Mock Test 10 days before the exam.

  • Why take it? The interface is unique. You need to get used to the "Save & Next" buttons to avoid wasting time.

  • Target: Score 180+ in Mocks to be safe for Manipal Main Campus.

5. The Admission Process (After the Exam)

This is where things get tricky.

Stage 1: Slot Booking (OTBS)

Manipal does not send an Admit Card. You must login to the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) and book your specific Date & Time slot. It is First-Come-First-Serve.

Stage 2: Counselling Registration

Once the Rank List is out, you must register for counselling online.

  • Fee: You must pay ₹10,000 as a Waitlist Deposit.

  • Refund Rule: If you don't get any seat, it is refunded. If you get a seat and reject it, you lose the money.

Stage 3: Seat Allotment Rounds

There are typically 5 Rounds.

  • Round 1: If allotted, pay the 1st Installment (₹1.6 Lakhs) immediately.

  • Waitlist: If unallotted, you automatically move to Round 2.

  • Slide Rule: If you want a better branch/campus, pay the fees for your current seat and choose "Upgrade".

6. Documents Required for Counselling

Keep scanned PDFs of these ready by June 2026:

  1. MET 2026 Hall Ticket & Score Card.

  2. Class 10th & 12th Marksheets.

  3. Conduct & Transfer Certificate (TC).

  4. Aadhaar Card (Student & Parent).

  5. Medical Fitness Certificate.

7. Conclusion: Don't Miss the Deadline

The MET 2026 Application window for Phase 1 closes on March 15.

  • Action: Apply now to ensure you get two attempts (Phase 1 + Phase 2).
